| In an email to followers on Saturday and in a New York Times op-ed, Sen. Bernie Sanders said he plans to introduce legislation “to ensure that the public has a 50% stake in all of the major AI companies.”
“President Donald Trump also embraces giving the public a stake in AI’s growth,” reports the Brattleboro Reformer. Trump has “embraced” public investment in private companies in his second term after the government took a 10% stake in Intel last year and mulled a takeover of Spirit Airlines before it shut down. |
